Vidur Sparsh is a social outreach initiative envisioned by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to empower rural youth by equipping them with industry-relevant skills and creating pathways to employment in the rapidly evolving digital economy. Rooted in the belief that access to quality education and skill development should extend beyond geographical and socio-economic barriers, the project seeks to make emerging technology skills more accessible to underserved communities.
In collaboration with NASSCOM through its FutureSkills Prime platform, Vidur Sparsh provides opportunities for learners to develop foundational and advanced competencies in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and other technology-driven domains. Through structured learning pathways and industry-aligned certification programmes, the initiative aims to strengthen digital capabilities, enhance employability, and prepare rural youth for evolving career opportunities.
Beyond technical training, Vidur Sparsh creates a meaningful connection between education and social impact. By engaging CHRIST University students in peer-led learning and community outreach, the project fosters knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and social responsibility while contributing to India's broader skill development and digital inclusion goals.
Through this collective effort, Vidur Sparsh aspires to bridge the digital divide, unlock the potential of rural youth, and create opportunities for a more inclusive and empowered future.

Partnership with NASSCOM
Creating Pathways to Industry-Ready Skills
Vidur Sparsh is strengthened by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and NASSCOM, establishing a collaborative framework to expand access to industry-relevant digital skills and professional certifications. Through the FutureSkills Prime platform, the partnership aims to equip learners with the knowledge and competencies required to navigate emerging technologies and evolving employment opportunities.
Under this collaboration, NASSCOM facilitates access to its FutureSkills Prime platform, offering online learning modules, industry-aligned content, and certification opportunities in emerging technology domains. CHRIST University undertakes the mobilisation and onboarding of a minimum of 500 learners, including students, faculty members, and rural youth, enabling wider participation in structured skill development programmes.
Both institutions work together to support the delivery of updated learning resources, monitor learner progress, and ensure effective programme implementation. Upon successful completion of the prescribed courses and assessments, eligible learners receive certifications through NASSCOM and the relevant Sector Skill Council, as applicable.
Through this partnership, Vidur Sparsh seeks to connect education with industry requirements, strengthen digital capabilities, and create inclusive learning opportunities that contribute to rural empowerment and India's national skill development objectives.
The Vidur Sparsh project aims to achieve the following outcomes:

NASSCOM & CHRIST MOU Signing Ceremony
CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has partnered with NASSCOM to strengthen digital skilling and employability among rural youth through the Vidur Sparsh initiative.
The collaboration provides learners with access to industry-relevant learning opportunities through NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime, enabling them to develop skills in emerging technologies and workplace competencies. Through this partnership, CHRIST University students also contribute as peer trainers, creating a model of learning, mentoring, and community engagement.

EduQuest is a student-led outreach initiative of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) dedicated to empowering rural youth through meaningful learning experiences, skill development, and peer-led engagement. The initiative creates opportunities for young learners from rural communities to gain exposure to essential knowledge, practical skills, and perspectives that support their educational and career aspirations.
Through interactive sessions, experiential activities, discussions, and collaborative learning, EduQuest encourages participants to explore new ideas, strengthen their confidence, and develop relevant skills for a changing world. A key feature of the initiative is its peer-learning approach, through which CHRIST University students share their knowledge, expertise, and experiences to support the learning and development of rural youth.
By connecting university students with rural communities, EduQuest seeks to make learning more accessible, engaging, and impactful. The initiative reflects CHRIST University's commitment to social responsibility, inclusive education, and excellence in service, while nurturing a culture of active citizenship and meaningful community engagement.
Felicitation Ceremony of Student Trainers

As part of the Vidur Sparsh initiative, 63 student trainers successfully cleared the 35-hour BPM Associate – Insurance course offered by NASSCOM. To recognise their achievement and commitment to professional skilling, a felicitation programme was organised. The milestone reflects the initiative’s focus on industry-oriented learning, strengthening student capabilities, and enabling them to share their knowledge through peer-led community outreach.
